Inchon Transportation Centre - South Korea

 

Terry Farrell Architects won an international Competition in 1995 to design and deliver a major Transportation Hub building to service the new Inchon International Airport . Paul Treacy was project Leader for the above ground organic roof form which created the 180 Metre roof span to form the great Hall over the main concourse . The building was designed and delivered in 3D using CATIA software and 3d printed models were generated and submitted as part of our key deliverables . Paul was involved from inception to delivery where we led the facades package for the great hall and visited site to deliver the project with local Architects - Samoo . The project was completed and opened in 2000 .
